For the past 33 years he has worked in manufacturing and safety, gaining industry knowledge in manufacturing and safety and health in the workplace. His notable career experiences include serving for six years as a Safety Compliance Officer with the Tennessee Department of Labor (TOSHA) and working as a safety coordinator/manager for general contractor Holder Construction Co. at various projects in the southeast including FedEx, Emory, Georgia Tech, and Atlanta-Hartsfield International Airport.
Dan received his OSHA 501 from Georgia Tech in 2004, then moved to Yates Construction in 2019 as a Site Safety Professional at the FedEx SEC 25 Project. He then came to Pearson Safety in November 2022 with the goal of devoting more time to consulting and teaching.
In his free time, Dan enjoys going to the lake, beach, and National Parks whenever possible. He also enjoys attending sporting events and concerts.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
